Beaver City, Nebraska. Lee Wilmot, age 57, of Beaver City, Nebraska died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at his home in Beaver City, Nebraska. He was born February 24, 1953 at McCook, Nebraska to Merlin and Mary (McConnell) Wilmot. Lee grew up in the Wilsonville, Nebraska area. He graduated from Wilsonville High School with the Class of 1971. He started trucking at an early age and continued till health wouldn't allow him to continue in November of 2008. He married Janet Sue Shreve on February 23, 1980 at Glenwood, Colorado. He continued to truck from the Wilsonville area till they moved to Beaver City, Nebraska in 1995 and resided here till his death. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church at Beaver City, Nebraska. Survivors include his wife: Janet of Beaver City, Nebraska Daughter: AmberLee Wilmot of Beaver City, Nebraska 2 Brothers: Wesley Wilmot and his wife Kathy of Beaver City, Nebraska Rex Wilmot of Lebanon, Nebraska 2 Grandaughters: Alexis & Alivia Parker He was preceded in death by his parents. Viewing and visitation will by Friday, November 5 at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska 1 PM until 8 PM and prior to services on Saturday at the Church in Wilsonville, Nebraska. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Baptist-Christian Church in Wilsonville, Nebraska with Pastor Keith Theobald, officiating. Burial will follow at Wilsonville Cemetery. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska in charge of services.
