He was born on December 26, 1914 at Edison, Nebraska to William Henry & Mollie I. (Michel) Mues. He married Dorothy C. McCann on November 10, 1945. They made their home at Arapahoe, Nebraska and have been life-long residents. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed meeting for coffee with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Dorothy.
