Verna Fae Stagemeyer

Arapahoe, Nebraska Verna Fae Stagemeyer, age 70, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, Nebraska. She was born April 25, 1937 in Gosper County, Nebraska to Charles & Louise (Silbermann) Rader. She grew up in Gosper County, Nebraska and attended Arapahoe High School, graduating with the Class of 1955. She married Merle Owen Stagemeyer on June 24, 1955 at Beaver City, Nebraska. Following their marriage they lived in Denver, Colorado for 4 years. They moved to Arapahoe, Nebraska in 1959 where her husband was owner and operator of Stagemeyer Construction. She worked for 10 years for the City of Arapahoe as secretary and then 27 years for the C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center of Arapahoe, Nebraska in the Housekeeping Department. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Merle in 1999, twin sister Erna Mae Stone, and sister Ella Arlene Stevens, Grandson Benjamin Stagemeyer. Survivors include his son: Rick & wife Janice Stagemeyer of Arapahoe, Nebraska Daughter: Tamra & husband Doug Stalder of Arapahoe, Nebraska Brother: Harold & wife Joyce Rader of North Glen, Colorado Sister: Ethel & husband Ambrose Meyers of Arapahoe, Nebraska Grandchildren: 5 Great-Grandchildren: 5 Condolences and personal reflections may be left at http://www.wenburgfuneralhome.com/. Viewing & visitation will be Tuesday, August 7, from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 8, at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. David Otten, officiating. Interment will be at Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
