Trenton A. Roskop

July 18, 2006 — March 11, 2026

Arapahoe, Nebraska

Trenton Anthony Roskop, 19, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. He was born on July 18, 2006, at Kearney, Nebraska to Dennis and RayAnn Roskop.

Trenton was the middle child in his family and shared a special bond with his two sisters, Tracy and Taytum. He was a 2025 graduate of Arapahoe High School and was currently attending Southeast Community College, where he was majoring in Ag Business.

In high school, Trenton was actively involved in Football, Basketball, and Track, among other activities. He served as Vice President of the Arapahoe-Holbrook FFA chapter and was a member of Student Council, National Honor Society, FCA, Teammates, Plains Tsunami swim team, and FCCLA. You could often find him coaching little league teams, refereeing basketball or umpiring baseball games. Trenton also participated in Chaos Basketball, Gladiator Baseball, Nebraska Pride Basketball, the Furnas County 4-H Council, and served as President of the Arapahoe Baby Beef 4-H Club. He was a member of the Arapahoe Global Methodist Church and worked at tenBensel Farms.

Trenton was the most magnetic person, never knowing a stranger. His crooked smile lit up the room and he had a remarkable way of drawing people in and making them feel like friends. He loved sports, spending time with his friends, and farming. Trenton was especially excited about the future and the plans he had made to return home to farm with the tenBensel family. He had it all planned out.

A natural leader, Trenton was never afraid to be himself. He always had a story to tell and made sure he was the life of the party. His energy, kindness, and larger-than-life personality will be remembered by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Dennis and RayAnn Roskop; his sisters, Tracy and Taytum; his grandparents, Randy and Roxie Ryan and Mike and Patty Roskop; his great-grandmother, Margaret Roskop; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Preceding him in death are his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ryan; and great-grandparents, Fred and Edith O’Hare, Maxine Coursey, and Pete Roskop.

For the service, the family has requested everyone wear your favorite sports jersey or Carhart gear in Trenton's memory.
