Tony Dean Miller

Tony Dean Miller, age 54, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017. He was born on June 11, 1963, in McCook, Nebraska. He was one of eight children born to E. Royal and Jackie (Haag) Miller. Tony grew up in Arapahoe, Nebraska where he graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1982. He went on to pursue a higher education, studying music at University of Nebraska Kearney. Additionally, he studied anatomy and physiology at the University of Phoenix. Tony worked as a specialist/auditor at Cigna and as a State of Arizona claims customer provider, as well as a former grill cook at Wendy’s. In January of 1986, Tony married Kimberly Calvert at St. Patrick Catholic Church in McCook. To this union was born 5 children; Daniel, Rachelle, Rebekah, Jacob, and Renee. Tony went on to marry Debra Rigby in April of 2001. Tony used much of his musical talent blessing his family and friends by performing for weddings and events. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alvin Miller, Grandmother Grace Michaels Miller McComb, Grandfather Grant McComb, Grandmother, Evelyn Haag, and Grandfather John Haag. He is survived by his five children, Daniel Dean Miller, of Phoenix, Rachell Rae (Miller) Tucker of Kingman, Arizona, Rebekah Ann Miller of Torrington, Wyoming, Jacob Alan Miller of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his former wife and mother of his children, Kim Plum; his wife Debbie Miller; father and stepmother Royal and Kae Miller of Hastings, Nebraska, mother Jackie Miller of McCook, Nebraska, brothers Alan Miller and wife Tina, Mike Miller and wife Ann, Mark Miller and wife Kerry, David Miller and wife Joselyn, Ronny Miller and wife Jenn; sisters, Linda DiNieri and husband David and Tracy Zern and husband Mike as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the St. Germanus Catholic Church, Arapahoe, Nebraska with Father Kenneth Wehrs, officiating. Inurnment will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
