Sheril Kay Buethe

Sheril Kay Buethe, age 63, of Ravenna, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Good Samaritan Society of Ravenna, Nebraska. She was born on February 3, 1952 to Orville A. & Betty (Clements) Buethe. Sheril grew up on a farm by Bruning, Nebraska and moved with her parents to Stamford, Nebraska in the 1970’s. She worked at the café in Oxford, Nebraska and then worked for different Nursing Homes in Holdrege, Beaver City, and Olathe, Kansas. She enjoyed working with the elderly. She enjoyed gardening and working with flowers. Later she would move to the Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna, Nebraska. She enjoyed all of her friends at the Center and especially looked forward to each Sunday morning so she could go to church at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ravenna. She had a special companion with the Center’s dog Roscoe until 2007. Sheril is survived by her sisters: Shirley Park of Grand Island, Nebraska Joyce & husband Ed Kempf of Olathe, Kansas Brother: Wayne Buethe of North Platte, Nebraska 3 nieces & 3 nephews, along with great nieces and nephews. Sheril was preceded in death by her infant son Michael Eugene in 1983, her parents, twin brother & sister Robert and Barbara. Memorial services will be at a later date at the Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna. A private inurnment will be at the Stamford Cemetery, in Stamford, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
