Ramona A. Chambers

Arapahoe, Nebraska Ramona A. Chambers, age 80, of Cambridge, Nebraska, formerly of Arapahoe & Wilsonville, Nebraska passed away on November 29, 2008 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, Nebraska. She was born on November 7, 1928 on the family farm near Lyle, Kansas to Harry D. & Aril A. (Ankenman) Warner. She attended Lebanon High School, in Lebanon, Nebraska and graduated with the class of 1946. She married Clyde E. Chambers on October 12, 1949, in Lebanon, Nebraska. They farmed for many years in the Wilsonville & Lebanon, Nebraska, & Lyle, Kansas area. They retired from farming in 2000 and later would move to Arapahoe, Nebraska. Her husband Clyde passed away on September 9, 2002. She entered the Tri-Valley Assisted Living in May of 2007. She was a member of the United Methodist Church & IHO Ladies club, both of Wilsonville, Nebraska. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clyde Chambers, brother Dean Warner She is survived by sons: Craig Chambers of Omaha, Nebraska Kent & wife Deena Chambers, of Wilsonville, Nebraska Brothers: Neal & wife Frances Warner of Lebanon, Nebraska Gail & wife Laurie Warner of Holbrook, Nebraska Dale & wife Sharon Warner of Weleetke, Oklahoma Sisters: Virginia Schroder of Blair, Nebraska Danny Lou & husband Larry Blackman of Bartley, Nebraska Sister-In-Law: Betty Warner of Cambridge, Nebraska Grandchildren: 2 Great-Grandchildren: 5 Condolences and personal reflections may be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing & visitation will be Wednesday, December 3, from 1 PM till 8 PM, and Thursday, December 4, from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Friday, December 5, at 10:30 AM at United Presbyterian Church, Lebanon, Nebraska with Craig Christner, officiating. Interment will be at the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
