Arapahoe, Nebraska Paula Lynne Deisley, age 37, of Arapahoe, Nebraska died on December 31, 2009 at Cambridge Hospital, in Cambridge, Nebraska. She was born on August 15, 1972 at Lincoln, Nebraska to Wayne & Marilyn (Andreesen) Koehler. She grew up in Funk, Nebraska and Bern, Kansas before moving to Bruning, Nebraska. She was baptized at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Wymore, Nebraska in September of 1972 and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bruning, Nebraska in May of 1985. She graduated from Bruning High School with the class of 1990. She went on to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and was Choir Director for the Student Lutheran Center. In 1995, she graduated with a degree in music education. She would then teach Kindergarten thru 12th grade vocal & instrumental music at Giltner Public Schools in Giltner, Nebraska for 11 years. On June 20, 1998 she married Chad R. Deisley at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bruning, Nebraska. She received her Masters in Educational Administration from University of Nebraska in Kearney in 2005. In 2006 they moved to Arapahoe, Nebraska and became the 5th thru 12th grade instrumental music teacher at Arapahoe Public Schools. They were blessed with two children: Morgan in 2000 & Tanner Deisley in 2002. She was a member of the Music Educators Association, Nebraska Educators Association, & First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She sang with the Methodist Praise Team and part of many choirs. She enjoyed scrapbooking, taking family pictures, singing, playing cards. She enjoyed spending time with family, all school activities. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, & sister. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Tobias & Gertrude Andreesen She is survived by her husband Chad Deisley and children Morgan & Tanner Deisley of Arapahoe, Nebraska Parents: Wayne & Marilyn Koehler of Humboldt, Nebraska Father & Mother In Law: Bruce & Sherry Deisley of Minden, Nebraska Brothers: Jeffrey & Ami Koehler, and Jayse, Jordan, & Brody of Maywood, Nebraska Matthew Koehler of Shickley, Nebraska Sister: Jennifer Koehler of Nebraska City, Nebraska Brother-In-Law: Mitchell & wife Jill Deisley of Lincoln, Nebraska Grandparents: Wilber & wife Iona Koehler of Humboldt, Nebraska Grandparents In-Law: Marvin & Eleanor Deisley, of Norman, Nebraska and numerous aunts, uncles, & cousins. Condolences and personal reflections may be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing & visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 10 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the services at the church. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 3, at 2:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church, of Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. Michael Flury, officiating. Funeral services will be Monday, January 4, at 2 PM at the St. James Long Branch Lutheran Church & burial following at the St. James Cemetery, both of rural Humboldt, Nebraska.
