Michael Otte

Michael Leon Otte, age 73, of Beaver City, Nebraska passed away December 2, 2022 at Colonial Villa Good Samaritan Center in Alma, Nebraska. He was born on August 14, 1949 in Columbus, Nebraska to Herman and Joy (Carr) Otte.

Mike grew up in the Columbus and Seward areas and graduated from Seward High School. After school he worked building towers for CB radios and Hamm radios. After that he painted water towers for many years. His most prominent job was trucking anything and everything across the country. He had many hobbies and was an avid outdoorsman. His biggest enjoyment was a tie between spending time with the dogs, his grandkids, and cutting wood for people in need with no heat in their homes. He was also an excellent gardener; he could grow anything and everything.

He is survived by his sons Nick and wife Lindsay, and Justin. Daughters Jenny and Liberty. Brothers Chris and Wayne, and 8 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Steve.
