Arapahoe, Nebraska Mary Lou Hornaday, age 77, of Cambridge, Nebraska formerly of Arapahoe, Nebraska died Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Cambridge Manor, in Cambridge. She was born on October 17, 1934 in Arapahoe, Nebraska to Charles & Ola (Crouch) Hornaday. She graduated from Arapahoe High School with the class of 1952. After school she worked for C.A. Swanson until they closed. She would then go to work at the Cambridge Clarion newspaper in Cambridge, Nebraska and working there more than 30 years until her retirement. After her retirement, she moved to South Ridge Retirement Village in Cambridge until failing health forced her to move to Cambridge Manor until her death. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kenneth & Verald Hornaday, and nephew-in-law Norm Dietz. She is survived by her sister-in-law Marg Hornaday of Oxford, Nebraska Niece: Sharon & husband Ron Ludeke of Oxford, Nebraska Nephew: Larry & wife Jo Hornaday of Kearney, Nebraska Great Nephews: Mike Dietz of Gretna, Nebraska Todd Hornaday of Bettendorf, Iowa Shawn & wife Rachel Hornaday Erie, Colorado Great-Great Nieces: Morgan Dietz of Huntsville, Alabama Shelby Hornaday of Bettendorf, Iowa Great-Great Nephews: Chyne Dietz of Indianapolis, Indiana Seth, Michael, & Kaleb of McCook, Nebraska Great-Great-Great Nephew: Mason Bennett of Denver, Colorado Condolences or personal reflections can be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com Private family inurnment will be at a later date at Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, Nebraska.
