Beaver City, Nebraska Mark Allen Forbes, age 51, of Beaver City, Nebraska died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at his home in Beaver City after a short battle with cancer. Mark was born February 25, 1961 at McCook, Nebraska to Marquerite (Midge) Haller & Larry Forbes. Mark grew up in McCook, Nebraska. He attended McCook schools and after school started to work for Frick Construction Co in McCook for 10 years. He moved to Beaver City, Nebraska in 1987. He married SueAnn Stagemeyer on July 9, 1988 at Beaver City, Nebraska. Mark continued to work in construction and maintenance for Sands Livestock, and Nebraska Pork Producers, which is now Maschhoffs for the last 15 years. Mark was an Eagle Boy Scout at the young age of 15 while living in McCook, Nebraska . Mark had a love for fishing, stamp collecting and toy trains and wood working. He was preceded in death by father, and brothers; Kenneth, Timothy and Robert. Survivors include: Wife; SueAnn Forbes of Beaver City, Nebraska Mother: Midge Forbes of McCook, Nebraska Son: Jacob Todd and wife Miranda Forbes of Dallas, Texas Daughter: Megan Forbes and personal friend Scott of Brighton, CO Brother: Steve Forbes and wife Lorenda of Beaver City, Nebraska Sister: Marshell and husband Jim Kennedy of Goodland, Kansas Condolences or personal reflections can be left at Viewing and visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2012, from 10 AM until 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home at Beaver City, Nebraska and prior to services Saturday at the church. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe with Rev. James Moshier, officiating. Burial to follow at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska in charges of arrangements.
