Arapahoe, Nebraska Marjorie Virginia Horn, age 77, of Johnson Lake, Nebraska died on Friday, March 15, 2013 at her daughter’s home at Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was born on May 11, 1935 at Bellingham, Washington to Ralph Sr. & Elva (Kuhns) Johnson. She was baptized at the Arapahoe Christian Church, at Arapahoe, Nebraska. She grew up and attended school at Beaver City High School, Beaver City, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Avary on November 7, 1953. To this union three children were born: Kim Allen, Gary Lee, and Kammi Sue. Kenneth would pass away in 2000. She then married Gilbert Horn in 2008 and made their home at Johnson Lake, Nebraska. Gilbert would pass away in 2012. She enjoyed everything in life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching the sunset at the lake. She was truly a loving mom, grandmother, sister, & friend. She will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Kenneth Avary & Gilbert Horn, son Kim Avary, one brother and two sisters, two brother-in-laws, and one daughter-in-law. She is survived by her son Gary Avary & wife Audry of Rapid City, South Dakota Daughter: Kammi Huxoll & husband Dean of Arapahoe, Nebraska Brother: Ralph Johnson Jr. & wife Karen of Golden, Colorado Sister-in-Law: Immogene Williams of Grand Island, Nebraska Brother-In-Law: Maci Cross of Cheyenne, Wyoming Grandchildren: 5 Great-Grandchildren: 4 & many nieces and nephews Condolences and personal reflections may be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 2 PM at Trinity Evangelical Free Church of Holdrege, Nebraska with Pastor Murray Jones, officiating. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. Wenburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
