Marjorie A. Gardner

Arapahoe, Nebraska Marjorie A. Gardner, age 82, of Arapahoe, Nebraska died on July 26, 2008 at Good Samaritan Center, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was born on September 7, 1925 in Gosper County, Nebraska to William F. & Lizzie J. (Schuetz) Stagemeyer. She attended school at Arapahoe High School and graduated with the class of 1938. She married Vernon Dale Gardner on May 9, 1945 at Norton, Kansas. They farmed in the Arapahoe & Edison area until retiring from farming in 1993. They moved into Arapahoe, Nebraska some 25 years ago. They enjoyed traveling to South Texas during the winter months. She enjoyed her gardening and grandchildren. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and Lutheran Women's Mission League of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She also was a member of the neighborhood Ever-Ready Club. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon Dale, infant sister, Grand-daughter Brittany Gardner, Great-Granddaughter Katrina Gardner. She is survived by Sons: Dennis & wife Margie Gardner of Arapahoe, Nebraska Terry & wife Laurie Gardner of Hillsboro, Oregon Ron & wife Darcy Gardner of Edison, Nebraska Brothers: Dean & wife Carolyn Stagemeyer of Longview, Washington Glenn & wife Ardy Stagemeyer of Lebanon, Oregon Grandchildren: 5 Great-Grandchildren: 11 Great-Great Grandchildren: 2 Condolences and personal reflections may be left at http://www.wenburgfuneralhome.com/ Viewing and visitation will be Monday, July 28, from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, in Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 29, at 10 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. Dale Hedstrom, officiating. Burial will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.
