Marjorie Faye Lambert

Marjorie Faye Lambert, age 67, of Miller, Nebraska, lost her battle with cancer on Friday, July 12, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Long Beach, California on February 11, 1946. She is the daughter of Mabel F. (Johnson) Nyland who resides in the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas and Veryl Nyland also of Norton. She married LeRoy Lambert on June 8, 1963 and raised daughter Tracey and son Kenneth on the family farm near Beaver City, Nebraska. Over the years they enjoyed square dancing and traveling. Marj spent most of her life dress making, doing alterations, making draperies, home decor, and gardening. She was also a wonderful cook but sewing was a passion. She is survived by her husband LeRoy Lambert of Miller, Nebraska Daughter: Tracey Dunn of Kearney, Nebraska Son: Kenneth & wife Tamara Lambert of Miller, Nebraska Parents: Veryl & Mabel Nyland of Norton, Kansas Grandchildren: Brooke and Taylor Dunn, Keenan, Ryan, & Rachael Lambert Great-Grandchildren: Morgan Florke Sisters: Lois Peters, Joyce Rogers, & Karen Smith Condolences or personal reflections can be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 1, 2013 at 2 PM at the Methodist Church in Miller, Nebraska with Pastors Bonnie Brock and Keith Theobald, officiating. Refreshments will follow at the Miller Hall following the service. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 9:30 AM at Mount Hope Cemetery in Beaver City, Nebraska.
