Marion Chester Reid

Beaver City, Nebraska Marion Chester Reid, age 71, of Trenton, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at El Dorado Manor in Trenton, Nebraska. He was born on August 30, 1941 at Oxford, Nebraska to Chester & Thelma (Brown) Reid. Marion was raised on the George Nicholson homestead south of Beaver City, Nebraska. He was baptized in the Christian Church at Beaver City, on February 12, 1954. He attended Beaver City High School at Beaver City, Nebraska and graduated with the class of 1959. On November 26, 1960 he married Sandra Storz at Oxford, Nebraska. To this union four children were born, Tony, Chris, Cathy, & Craig. He was also married to Bette Reid. He was preceded in death by his mother, & wife Bette Reid He is survived by his sons: Tony & wife Cathy Reid of Manhattan, Kansas Chris & wife Kathy Reid of Stratton, Nebraska Craig & wife Christina Reid of Lincoln, Nebraska Daughter: Cathy & husband Mark Witaczack of Overland Park, Kansas Sister: Rosemary & husband Irlee Stagemeyer of Holbrook, Nebraska Condolences or personal reflections can be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com No viewing or visitation as cremation was chosen. Graveside services will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 2 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City, Nebraska with Rev. James Moshier, officiating.
