Luella Marie Harrold

Luella Marie Harrold, age 84, of Beaver City, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Phelps Memorial Hospital, Holdrege, Nebraska. She was born on October 17, 1929 on the family farm in Furnas County, Nebraska to Walter & Opal (Covington) Gerd. She attended school at Stamford High School and graduated with the class of 1947. She married Donald D. Harrold on December 2, 1950. She was employed at the ASCS office in Beaver City for 33 years. They moved to Oxford, Nebraska in 1974 and remained there until 2011 when she would move to the Beaver City Manor because of health problems. Her husband Donald would pass away on January 4, 2014. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Joy Circle of Oxford, Nebraska. She enjoyed fishing along with her husband, gardening, and feeding the birds. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, son Jerry Harrold, Daughter-In-Law Cindy Harrold, and Great Granddaughter Rachael Harrold, Sister-In-Law Mildred Barker, Brother-In-Law Robert Blees She is survived by her sons: Bill Harrold of Albuquerque, New Mexico Tom & wife Jan Harrold of Holdrege, Nebraska Sister: Donna Blees of Alma, Nebraska Sisters-in-law: Pauline Huff of Loveland, Colorado Carol Theobald of Beaver City, Nebraska 4 Grandchildren: Matt, Jasey, Drew, Jamie 5 Great Grandchildren: Blake, Lucinda, Adelaide, Jadon, & Reese Condolences and personal reflections may be sent to wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing and visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2014 from 10 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Brian Jenkins, officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
