Linda Lou Pate, age 76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Cullman, Alabama. She was born to Ralph & Hazel (Hardenbrook) Christensen on August 13, 1943 at Beaver City, Nebraska. Linda was one of four children and was raised on the family farm near Beaver City. She attended school at Beaver City High School, where she was a cheerleader with the nickname of “Mighty Mouse” due to her small size. Many years later, her husband Wayne came to understand the nickname, because of her strong will to do the right thing. Linda graduated with the class of 1961. After graduation Linda attended Nebraska Christian College in Norfolk, NE and then entered the US Air Force where she served for 2 years. Linda was married to the love of her life, Wayne Pate, for 38 years. She loved to travel, so she & Wayne tried to visit all the places they wished to see. Wayne loved to tell her that they had a 38 year honeymoon, and loved every minute, and will continue that journey when they meet in Heaven. Linda had a strong faith in God that grew and sustained her throughout her struggles with health late in life.
