Arapahoe, Nebraska Laura Marie Stewart, age 89, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was born on January 15, 1918 at Wilsonville, Nebraska to Roy & Rosa (Millard) James. She was raised by her grandparents in Wilsonville, Nebraska and attending Wilsonville High School, graduating with the Class of 1937. On June 5, 1937, she married Ernest Edward Stewart at Beaver City, Nebraska. They made their home north of Arapahoe, Nebraska where they farmed for many years. She worked as a Nurse's Aide at the C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center, in Arapahoe, Nebraska for 20 year. In 1998, she moved to the C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center because of health reasons. She was a member of the Christian Church of Christ and the Friendly Circle Extension Club, of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest E. Stewart, son Billy E. Stewart. Survivors include Son: Ronnie Stewart & fiancee Elsie Brumagen of Lincoln, Nebraska Daughter: V. Kay Adden of Lincoln, Nebraska Grandchildren: 7 Great-Grandchildren: 12 Condolences & personal reflections may be left at http://www.wenburgfuneralhome.com/. Viewing & visitation will be Sunday, September 9, from 1 PM until 5 PM, and Monday, September 10, from 9 AM until 8 PM at the Wenburg Funeral Home, Arapahoe, Nebraska. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 11, at 11 AM at the Christian Church of Christ, in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Pastor Joe Stapleton, officiating. Interment will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
