Kenneth Dean Lambert, age 74, of Beaver City, Nebraska passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Beaver City Manor in Beaver City, Nebraska. He was born November 17, 1940 at Oxford, Nebraska to Harley K. & Luella (Wier) Lambert. Dean grew up on the family farm and graduated from Beaver City High School in 1958. He married Jo Clements, and to this union three children were born; Laura, Harley Dean, & Amy. They would later divorce. After high school, Dean worked in Nebraska and Kansas building dams and drove truck for several different people. In 1970, he started driving a livestock truck for Paul Christensen at Speedway Transportation in Holdrege, Nebraska until he retired in 2001 due to health issues. On October 3, 1982, he married Marjory A. Warner Ator at the First Presbyterian Church in Beaver City, Nebraska. In September of 2008, Dean entered the Beaver City Manor due to his declining health. He was a member of Faith Community Church in Beaver City. Dean knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior for most of his life. He loved talking about politics and Bible prophecy and he eagerly shared his knowledge and his faith with those he met. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Hazel Lambert, brother Leland Lambert, sister-in-law Marjorie Lambert and grandson Richard Lambert. He is survived by wife Marjory A. Lambert of Beaver City, Nebraska, son Harley Dean & wife Sue Lambert of Arapahoe, Nebraska, daughters Laura & husband Kelly Koch of Axtell, Nebraska and Amy Lambert & Dr. Marty Lambert Amos, Grand Junction, Colorado, brother LeRoy Lambert of Miller, Nebraska, step-daughters Carrie & husband Chad Fisher of Imperial, Nebraska and Cathy & husband Chad Hoffart of Wakefield, Nebraska, grandchildren Ashleigh, & Cameron; Tena, Kristen, & Salena; RyAnn; Morgan, Kelton, Bryson and Evan; Ella and Cecelia and great-grandchildren Jaxon, Gracie and Henry. Memorials are suggested to the Beaver City Manor. Condolences or personal reflections can be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on May 23, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Faith Community Church in Beaver City.
