June Elaine Tracy

Arapahoe, Nebraska June Elaine Tracy, age 81, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was born on June 24, 1929 on the family farm northwest of Arapahoe, Nebraska to Frederick W.E. & Laura E. (Koeteman) Huxoll. She grew up and attended school at St. Matthews Parochial School northwest of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was confirmed on June 11, 1944 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church. She married Clarence C. Tracy on October 28, 1951 at St. Matthews Church. She worked for B-D Manufacturing in Holdrege, Nebraska for over 20 years. Her husband Clarence passed away on September 1, 2002. In 2007, she moved into the C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She enjoyed gardening, and loved to grow beautiful roses. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren as they grew-up. Many days she enjoyed spending time in her backyard watching her grandchildren and dogs play. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and Lutheran Women's Mission League of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence Tracy, brothers Martin & Laurel Huxoll, Brother-In-Laws; Joe tenBensel, Chester Hilker, Lloyd Golter, Buddy Riepe. She is survived by her son: Terry Joe & wife Deanne Tracy of Arapahoe, Nebraska Brothers: Wayne & wife Judy Huxoll of Cambridge, Nebraska Charles & wife Beverly Huxoll Holbrook, Nebraska Norman & wife Dorothy Huxoll of Holbrook, Nebraska James & wife LeAnn Huxoll of Holbrook, Nebraska Sisters: Marjorie tenBensel of Arapahoe, Nebraska Violet Hilker of Arapahoe, Nebraska Twyla Golter of Flagstaff, Arizona Betty Riepe of Flagstaff, Arizona Isabelle & husband Alvin Pfeiffer of Arapahoe, Nebraska Sister-In-Law: Brenda Huxoll of Cambridge, Nebraska Grandchildren: 2 Andrea & husband Justin Scheuffele, Garrett & wife Alicia Tracy Great-Grandchildren: 4 Dagon, Denae, Aryanna, & Brionna Condolences and personal reflections may be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing and visitation will be Monday, February 21, from 1 PM till 8 PM and Tuesday, February 22, from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 23, at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. James Moshier, officiating. Interment will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery, at Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
