Beaver City, Nebraska Irene Jacobs, age 89, of Beaver City, Nebraska died Monday, July 11, 2005 at Beaver City Manor & Assisted Living in Beaver City, Nebraska. She was born November 26, 1915 at Beaver City, Nebraska to Glide & Leora Belle (Strickland) Williams. She was a life long resident of Furnas County, Nebraska. She graduated from Beaver City High School with the class of 1934. She married Franklin (Jake) M. Jacobs in 1939 at Norton, Kansas. They farmed south of Beaver City, Nebraska. They moved into Beaver City in 1957. She & Jake were divorced in the mid 1960’s. She moved to Beaver City Plaza in 1985. In 2003 she moved to Beaver City Manor and Assisted Living. She was baptized at a young age at First United Methodist Church in Beaver City, Nebraska. She was self employed doing house work for many families in the Beaver City area. Preceded in death by parents, brother Don Williams, Sister Beryl Kinsman, and nephew Ed Kinsman. Survivors include Sister- in -law: Betty (Williams) & husband Tom Hardin of Weslaco, TX and 2 nieces and several great nieces & nephews. Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, July 12, 2005 from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska and prior to services Wednesday also at the funeral home. Condolences or personal reflections can be left at www. wenburgfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska with Bill Weaver, officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska in charge of arrangements.
