Beaver City, Nebraska Gerald “Jerry” Webb, age 55, of Beaver City, Nebraska died Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Phelps Memorial Hospital at Holdrege, Nebraska. He was born January 4, 1950 at Goodland, Kansas to Jess & Betty (Short) Webb. He grew up in Goodland, Kansas and graduated from Goodland High School with class of 1968. Following graduation he attended Goodland Tech School for 2 years in the electrical department. He later moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado where he was heavy equipment operator for Johnson Construction Company. He moved to Beaver City, Nebraska in last 1980’s. He was a heavy equipment operator for Adams Construction Company in Arapahoe, Nebraska from July of 1988 until early retirement due to health reasons in 2002. He married his companion, Jo (Clements) Lambert, of 25 years on April 19, 2005 at Holdrege, Nebraska. He was baptized as a Methodist at an early age. He was preceded in death by Grandparents and a son Scott. Survivors include: Wife: Jo of Beaver City, Nebraska Parents: Jess & Betty Webb of Goodland, Kansas Son: Steve Webb of Budge, Texas Daughter: Jennifer Webb of Liberty, MO Step-Son; Deano & wife Sue Lambert of Arapahoe, NE 2- Step –Daughters: Laura and husband Kelly Koch of Axtell, NE Amy Lambert & spouse Diana Whalen of Grand Junction, CO Brother: Larry Webb of Aurora, CO Step-Grandchildren: 6 Viewing and visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2005, 9 AM till 8 PM and Saturday, April 30, 9 AM till 1 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, in Beaver City, Nebraska. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 2 PM at Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City, Nebraska with Pastor Kenneth Breinig & Keith Theobald, officiating.
