Gary Jo Bowers

Arapahoe, Nebraska Gary Jo Bowers, age 39, of Fairmont, Nebraska, formerly of Holbrook, Nebraska, passed away on December 6, 2007 at Mercy Hospital, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was born on August 10, 1968 at Oxford, Nebraska to Terry & Cindy (Leiding) Bowers. He was raised in Holbrook, Nebraska and graduated from Holbrook High School in 1986. After high school he worked for Arapahoe Coop, Arapahoe, Nebraska for a few years. He would then work at different Coop's and construction companies in southwest and central Nebraska. The past few years he has been working as a truck driver of heavy equipment for Concrete & Construction Inc. of Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a Boy Scout Leader & T-Ball coach. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ivan & Maxine Bowers, & JoAnne Schroeder He is survived by his parents: Terry & wife Cindy Bowers of Holbrook, Nebraska Special Friend: Michelle McCoy of Fairmont, Nebraska Daughters: Katlyn Bowers of West Point, Nebraska MelAnne McCoy of Fairmont, Nebraska Sons: Tommy & Zane McCoy of Fairmont, Nebraska Brothers: Brad & wife Cathy Bowers of Holbrook, Nebraska Kelly Bowers of Holbrook, Nebraska Grandfather: Neale Schroeder of Arapahoe, Nebraska Condolences and personal reflections may be sent to www.wenburgfuneralhome. Viewing & visitation will be Sunday, December 9, from 2 PM until 8 PM & Monday, December 10, from 9 AM until 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, in Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the funeral service at the church. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 1 PM at United Methodist Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Tim Bice, officiating. Burial will be at the Holbrook Cemetery, at Holbrook, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
