Fritz McCoy

Arapahoe, Nebraska Fritz McCoy, age 71, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Nebraska. She was born on October 4, 1936 south of Arapahoe, Nebraska to Floyd & Mamie (King) Breinig. She was baptized in the Christian faith at the Trinity Lutheran Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She graduated from Arapahoe High School with the Class of 1953. After graduation she attended business school in Denver, Colorado. On April 15, 1956, she married Neal McCoy at the First United Methodist Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. They made their home in Arapahoe for all of their married life except for two early years in McCook, Nebraska. Prior to and during the early years of their marriage, Fritz worked for the Bureau of Reclamation at McCook, Nebraska for seven years. She would attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney and graduate in 1970 with a teaching degree. She would then teach at Oxford High School, in Oxford, Nebraska for seven years. Then later on become manager of the K-Store in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Arapahoe, Nebraska She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jane McCoy, infant son Michael, & brother Charles Breinig. She is survived by husband: Neal McCoy, Arapahoe, Nebraska Son: John & wife Nancy McCoy, of Kearney, Nebraska Daughter: Julie Ambielli of Califon, New Jersey Grandchildren: 6 Sister: Lu & husband Chuck Six of Arapahoe, Nebraska Brothers: Duane & Victor Breinig of Arapahoe, Nebraska Condolences or personal reflections can be left at www.wenburgfuneralhome.com. Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2008 from 9 AM till 8 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. David Otten, officiating. Burial will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.
