Beaver City, Nebraska Evelyn Elizabeth Balderston, age 95, of Beaver City, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Holdrege, Nebraska. She was born on January 7, 1918 at Manzanola, Colorado to William & Clara (Johann) Torney. The family moved to Furnas County, Nebraska where she grew up. On April 4, 1936 she was united in marriage to Jasper Balderston. To this union four sons; Raymond, Jerry, Dennis, & Ronald, and one daughter; Ann. The family resided on the farm by Hendley, Nebraska until they retired and moved to Beaver City in 1991. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jasper, sons; Raymond, Jerry, & Ronald, daughter Ann, brothers; Elmer, Ivan, & Clarence. one great-granddaughter Lauren Franklin. Funeral services will be April 30, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver City, Nebraska with Revs. Ivan & Joyce Dean, officiating.
