Eltha H. Haussler

Arapahoe, Nebraska Eltha H. Haussler, age 96, of Fairbury, Nebraska formerly of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Fairbury, Nebraska. She was born on December 17, 1911 in Gosper County, Nebraska to George & Emily (Linke) Debban. She grew up in Gosper County, Nebraska and attended Salem Lutheran Church & School south of Elwood, Nebraska. She married August C.H. Haussler on November 7, 1940 at Salem Lutheran Church. They farmed for many years 9 miles north of Holbrook, Nebraska. In 1980, they moved into Arapahoe, Nebraska. Her husband August would pass away on February 25, 1991. Later on she would move into Sunshine Village in Arapahoe, Nebraska and then to Fairbury, Nebraska. She was a member of the St. Matthews Lutheran Church and later transferred her membership to Trinity Lutheran Church of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She is preceded in death by parent, husband August, brothers Simon, Herbert, Leonard, Herman, Gerald, & Berwin Debban, and sister Esther. She is survived by her son: Keith & wife Carol Haussler of Fairbury, Nebraska Step-Daughter: Laverne and husband Rex Cook of Lincoln, Nebraska Brothers: Don & wife Rosemary Debban of Elwood, Nebraska Harold & wife Eileen Debban of Kearney, Nebraska Sisters-In-Law: Eunice Debban of the state of Washington Wilma & Nadeen Debban, both of Hastings, Nebraska Lola Debban of Elwood, Nebraska Grandchildren: 9 Great-Grandchildren: 9 Condolences & personal reflections may be left at www.wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing & visitation will be Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, in Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. David Otten, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Matthews Cemetery, at Arapahoe, Nebraska. Memorial are suggested to the Shriner's Hospital. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
