Earl E. Lambert, age 74, of Alma, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at the Kearney Regional Hospital, Kearney, Nebraska. He was born on May 12, 1945 in McCook, Nebraska to Lawrence & Vera (Cook) Lambert. Grew up at Beaver City, Nebraska and attended school at Beaver City High School. He graduated with the class of 1965. After his schooling, he went on to work various jobs in the Denver, Colorado area. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1965. He went on to fight in Vietnam, and during his tour of duty he was injured. He spend time healing at San Francisco, California before finishing at Fort Collins, Colorado. After his discharge, he moved back to Beaver City and married Ruth Hardenbrook in 1970 at Beaver City. To this union 2 daughters were born: Charlotte Lynn and Tonia Rena. Later on they would separate. Earl started working for Alma Block & Lumber Co. before going out on his own with his own company called Lambert Construction in 1975. Later on he would work in the maintenance department at Harlan County Hospital in Alma while always helping others with construction needs. After his retirement, he spent more time doing his hobbies of hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a member of the Republican Valley Bowbenders and the Alma Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gene and Arlyn & wife Dorothy Lambert, Sister Phyllis & husband Darrell Beins He is survived by his daughters Charlotte & husband Chris Mroczek of Kearney, Nebraska, Tonia and husband Quintius Walker of San Angelo, Texas, friends Ruth and husband Matt Chamberlain of Kearney, Nebraska, brother Ellis and wife Jean Lambert of Holdrege, Nebraska, Grandchildren: Chasidy & Meikal Lambert, Quintonia & Sophia Walker, Grandson Becket Mroczek, Step Grandson Ethan Mroczek and Great-Grandson Keenan Earl There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 10 AM at the Lakeside Fellowship Church in Alma, Nebraska with Pastor Keith Theobald, officiating. Inurnment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Beaver City, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home Beaver City, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the Earl Lambert Scholarship Fund and Alma Vol. Fire Dept.
