Doris M. Missing

Arapahoe, Nebraska Doris M. Missing, age 75, of Arapahoe, Nebraska died on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Cambridge Hospital, in Cambridge, Nebraska. She was born on December 10, 1935 at Hastings, Nebraska to Curtis & Nellie (Hasemeyer) Heath. She attended school at Holdrege High School and graduated with the class of 1954. She worked as a clerk at Skags Market in Holdrege, Nebraska. On September 17, 1961 she married Duane E. Missing at Arapahoe, Nebraska. They made there home at Arapahoe were they farmed and ranched. She would work as a clerk for Wagner’s Variety Store and as a lab tech at the Arapahoe Medical Clinic. Her husband Duane passed away on November 21, 1987. She married Gerald Disney in 1988 and later separated but remained best friends. She enjoyed volunteering at the Crystal Theatre and Roller Skating Rink in Arapahoe, and was instrumental in keeping them operating thru the years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Duane E. Missing, brothers Richard & Ivan Heath, sisters A. June Breinig & Betty Heath She is survived by her son: Jeff & wife Marla Missing of Redwood City, California Granddaughter: Sami Missing (age 14) & Grandson: Daniel Missing (age 12) of Redwood City, CA Brother: Don & wife Phyllis Heath of Hastings, Nebraska Brother-In-Law: Victor Breinig of Arapahoe, Nebraska Nieces and nephews: Debbie Ficken, Wendy Noyes, Curt Breinig, Patrick Breinig, Carrie Breinig, & Dawn Piper. Funeral services will be Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1 PM at the Arapahoe Christian Church, at Arapahoe, Nebraska with Pastor Dave Welch, officiating. Inurnment will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
