Arapahoe, Nebraska Doris Ann Turvey, age 62, of Greeley, Colorado died Thursday, June 16, 2005 at her home. She was born on April 6, 1943 at Holbrook, NE to Harry & Verna (Graning) Blauvelt. She attended Arapahoe High School and then graduated with the Class of 1961. She then attended the University of Northern Colorado, and graduated with a Business Degree. On April 9, 1967, she was united in marriage to Dan Turvey at First United Methodist Church in Arapahoe, NE. She worked for many years for financial companies in Greeley, Colorado. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Arapahoe, NE and the High Honor Society of Univ. of Northern Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, & sister Ruth Arlene Blauvelt. Survivors include husband: Dan Turvey of Greeley, Colorado Son: Kevin Turvey of Loveland, CO 3 Brothers: Lyle & wife Rosalie Blauvelt, of McCook, NE Jack & wife Valerie Blauvelt, of McCook, NE Paul & wife Linda Blauvelt, of Holdrege, NE 3 Sisters: Lila & Husband Tom Ellis of Shreveport, Lousiana Harriet & husband Larry Hornaday of Kearney, NE Thelma & husband Charles Dunlap of Kearney, NE Visitation will be Monday, June 20, from 1 PM till 8 PM at the Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, NE. Condolences or personal reflections can be left at www.wenburgfuneralhome.com. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at 10 AM the First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe, NE with Rev. Hyeongdong Baek, officiating. Burial will be at Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, NE. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, NE is in charge of the arrangements.
