Dennis Ray Schrock

Arapahoe, Nebraska Dennis Ray Schrock, age 58, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, formerly of Edison, Nebraska died on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. He was born on February 11, 1953 at Denver, Colorado to Maurice R. & Sharlene J. (Garrett) Schrock. He grew up in Kansas and Colorado. He graduated high school from Peetz, Colorado in 1971. He attended college at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado. He married Sandy Sneddon in 1973 and moved to Alaska. One son, Trent was born to this union. He later married Robin Schlegel in Holbrook, Nebraska in 1978. To this union, four children were born. They would later divorce. For several years he worked for the Holbrook and Edison Coop and later Arapahoe Feed Mill. In 2001 he moved to Gothenburg, Nebraska and was a truck driver for Dart Transportation. He was a member of the Spirit of the Rock in Oxford, Nebraska. He is preceded in death by his father, son Christopher in 1980, and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother Sharlene Schrock of Holbrook, Nebraska Sons: Trent Schrock of Holbrook, Nebraska Josh Schrock of Arapahoe, Nebraska Daughters: Nicole Tidyman & husband Kent of Edison, Nebraska Sonya Sitorius and husband Nick of Oconto, Nebraska Sisters: Linda Roelle & husband Jim of Peetz, Colorado Sherry Segelke & husband Jerry of Greeley, Colorado Bobbi Moore & husband Mike of Arapahoe, Nebraska Grandchildren: 8 & many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, February 13, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Spirit of The Rock Church in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Ken Breinig, officiating. Inurnment will be Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at 2:30 PM at the Rexford Cemetery, in Rexford, Kansas. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the services.
