Deena K. Chambers, age 55, of Wilsonville, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at her home. She was born on July 30, 1962 at Butte, Montana to George Washington & Gertrude Elizabeth (Coleman) Chambers. In 1976, she moved with her parents & sister Nikki to Douglas, Wyoming. She graduated from Douglas High School in 1980. She worked one year in Dodge City, Kansas at Pizza Hut. Later, she attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota where she met and fell in love with Kent Alan Chambers. They were married on November 7, 1987 at Anaconda, Montana. They made their home at Wilsonville, Nebraska where they farmed and ranched. She helped out with many chores around the farm. Deena worked at Payless Shoe Stores and Wendy’s when they lived in Salt Lake City, Utah from 1990-1992. Upon returning to the farm she engaged in Kent’s love of bird watching, camping, gardening and astronomy. Deena loved photography and her favorite pursuit was oil and watercolor painting, especially mountain scenery, which her Mom taught her. She played flute, viola, and piano. Journaling was very helpful to her. They enjoyed pets, especially Riley, a tricolored cocker spaniel they bought on their way home from their honeymoon and then Tanner the Weinmaraner! They enjoyed Bible study groups and worship of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Fellowship, food, and fun with friends and relatives was a must along with board and card games. She loved to travel, even though various health issues hindered her over the years. She is preceded in death by her father George “Red” Heath, Sister Carrie Heath, Brother Floyd “Rusty” Heath, and Father and Mother-In-Law Clyde & Ramona Chambers.
