Daniel P. Epp, age 57, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at CHI St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska. She was born January 1, 1960 to Herbert & Evelyn (Burkhart) Epp at Garden City, Kansas. He attended high school in Garden City, Kansas. Following his schooling, he worked in the oil fields and meat packing plant in Garden City. In 1980, he married Judy Buell. To this union 4 children were born; Kristopher, Justin, Heather, & Anthony. In 1990, they moved to Lexington, Nebraska, were Daniel started working for Nebraska By Products as a truck driver. Then he would change jobs and drive a truck for MRK Trucking of Lexington, Nebraska hauling cattle. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, cheering for the Denver Broncos, and having a shot of Jägermeister. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Daniel is survived by his wife Judy Epp of Lexington, Nebraska, father Herbert Epp of Mesa, Arizona, Sons; Kristopher and wife Sandie Epp of Fort Morgan, Colorado, Justin & wife Tracy Epp of Ravenna, Nebraska, Anthony Epp of Grand Island, Nebraska and daughter; Heather Epp of Eugene, Oregon, Brother; Andrew and wife Gena Epp of Mesa, Arizona, and Sister; Rebecca Epp and Mike Rice of Pueblo, Colorado, 13 Grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2017 from 2 PM till 4 PM at Elwood Funeral Home, Elwood, Nebraska. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family. Elwood Funeral Home of Elwood, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences or personal reflections may be left at elwoodfuneralhome.co
