Charlotte Ann Ganser, age 81, of Beaver City, Nebraska died on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born May 6, 1927 at Madison, Nebraska to Edward L. & Mary Ann (Rowlette) Reeves. She grew up at Madison, Nebraska and attended Madison High School. She married Don Ganser on February 6, 1948 in Madison, Nebraska. They made their home in Madison where she worked for General Telephone Company as an operator. In 1956, they moved to Albion, Nebraska and she remained with General Telephone Co. in Albion until 1960. Her husband Don died in 1983. She remained in Albion until 1986. She would move to Beaver City, Nebraska and lived in Escher Apartment until 2008 when she moved into Beaver City Assisted Living. She was a member of the Hollinger United Methodist Church, Hollinger, Nebraska. In Madison, Nebraska she was a member of the Fire Auxiliary, Legion Auxiliary, & Degree of Honor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Ganser, brother Allen Reeves, sister Jane Boettcher, & Great-Granddaughter Kelsey Leann Vacha. She is survived by Daughter: Barb & husband Don Vacha of Beaver City, Nebraska Son: Timothy Lee Ganser of Los Angeles, California Grandchildren: 2 Great-Grandchildren: 4 Condolences or personal reflections can be left at www.wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing & visitation will be Saturday, April 25, 2009, from 1 PM till 8 PM and Sunday, April 26, from 1 PM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska and prior to the services on Monday at the church. Funeral services will be Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11 AM at the Hollinger United Methodist Church, in Hollinger, Nebraska with Pastor Keith Theobald, officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 3 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery, at Madison, Nebraska with Rev. Sharon Stevens, officiating. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska in charge of the arrangements.
