Betty M. Arrington, age 85 of Arapahoe, Nebraska formerly of Bartley, Nebraska died Friday, November 23, 2007 at C. A. Mues Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was born March 8, 1922 at Bartley, Nebraska to James A. & Lydia M. (Arbogast) Fletcher. She was raised in Bartley, Nebraska and graduated from Bartley High School. Following graduation she moved to Seattle, Washington where she worked for Boeing Aircraft for several years. She married George Arrington in 1941 while he served in the US Army. They lived in Bartley in the 50's when they moved to Littleton, Colorado and then returned to Bartley in 1959. She worked several years for board of reclamation in McCook for several years also. In mid 60's she worked for TRW in McCook till it closed as which time she moved to Texas where she remained till returning back to Bartley. Her husband George died May 8, 1987. She moved to C. A. Mues Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Arapahoe on June 11, 2003. She attended Bartley Christian Church when health allowed her to attend. She also was a past member of Ladies Club in Bartley. She was preceded in death by parents, husband George in 1987, two Sons: Dane and Bruce. Survivors include a daughter; Georgia & husband LaVerne Maret of Beaver City, Nebraska Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren 14, Great-Great Grandchildren 1. Condolences or personal reflections can be left at www.wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing and visitation will be Monday, November 26, 2007 at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska from noon till 8 PM and Tuesday morning 8 AM till 10 AM at funeral home. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 2 PM at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, Nebraska with Pastor Phil Olsen of First Christian Church of Beaver City, Nebraska officiating. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska in charge of arrangements.
