Barbara Victoria "Vickie" Traver

Barbara Victoria “Vickie” Traver, age 67, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at her home. She was born to Floyd Duane and Barbara Jean Breinig on July 18th, 1957, in Long Beach, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, and her grandson Anthony.

She is survived by her children: Jamie (James) Shaw, Nathan (Kayla) Traver, Kristen (Kevin) Janssen, and Samantha (Stephen) Bulin, her grandchildren: Chaeli, Lily, Vas, Juliet, James, Liesl, Clementine, Odin, Leo, Phineas, Makenzzi, Tanner, Paislee, and Everleigh, and her three siblings: Steve (Ruth) Breinig, Scott (Pam) Breinig, and Wendy (Mike) Pruitt.

During her 67 years of life, she was a follower of Christ. She was known for her generosity through gift giving, her love of movies, and her fierce devotion to her grandchildren. During her last weeks of life Vickie shared her excitement for reuniting with her husband, meeting her grandchild Anthony, and the joy she will experience in the presence of Jesus.
