Arland Francis “Mike” Iliff

Beaver City, Nebraska Arland Francis “Mike” Iliff, age 78, of Beaver City, Nebraska, formerly of Stamford, Nebraska passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Beaver City Manor in Beaver City, Nebraska. He was born on December 31, 1934 at Rapid City, South Dakota to Arland “Patrick” & Mary (Claude) Iliff. After his schooling, he worked on a ranch near Harrison, Nebraska. He would then move to Stuart, Iowa and become an owner of a local service station. He would later get into over the road trucking all across the United States. He would later move to Stamford, Nebraska to be closer to family in 1996. Because of health reasons, he moved to Beaver City Manor in 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Froehle, grandson Austin Shaw. He is survived by his sons: Mark Shaw of Stamford, Nebraska Arland Iliff III Brother: John & wife Mary Iliff of Waukee, Iowa 3 Grandchildren: Michael & wife April Shaw of Alma, Nebraska Sierra & husband Sam Wimmer of Lincoln, Nebraska John Shaw of Stamford, Nebraska 3 Great Grandchildren: Aviana & Amrik Shaw, Mackenzie Wimmer Condolences and personal reflections may be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from 10 AM till 5 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 11 AM at Faith Community Church in Beaver City, Nebraska with Pastor Keith Theobald, officiating. Interment will be at the Stamford Cemetery, at Stamford, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
