Ann Louise Gregg, age 74, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on May 7, 2015. She was born May 9, 1940, in Beaver City, Nebraska to Glenn Thomas & Mary Arlyne (Malone) Pickett. Ann graduated from Beaver City High School in 1958 and that summer moved to Denver where she attended Parks Business School. Following graduation, she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Denver for eight years. In 1961, she married Larry Gregg and their daughter, Julie, was born in 1970. The family lived in Omaha for seven years in the late 70’s before returning to Colorado, residing in Arvada. Ann worked at Sheffield Homes for a number of years following Larry’s death. Ann loved to read, needlepoint, NASCAR racing, the Denver Broncos, collecting frogs and spending time with her family. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; granddaughter, Abigail Everham, and brother, Tom Pickett. She is survived by Daughter: Julie Everham & husband George of Englewood, Colorado Brother: Bob Pickett & wife Ana of Raymondville, Texas Sister: Mary Sue Grossman & husband Alex of Omaha Nebraska Grandchildren: Jeb Wheeler, Garrett, Jessica, Grace, Jolene and Gabriel Everham Condolences or personal reflections can be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com. Graveside services will be on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1 PM at Mount Hope Cemetery, at Beaver City, Nebraska led by long-time famiy friend Keith Theobald. A luncheon will be held immediately after the service at the Faith Community Church in Beaver City. The family requests memorials to the Beaver City Ministerial Association, % Meredith Williams, P.O. Box 236, Beaver City, NE 68926. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska is in charge of the service.
